Temporary Shoring
CHANCE® Helical Tieback Anchors are a fast, removable, reusable, and extremely economical temporary foundation shoring solution. Helical tieback anchors provide additional lateral support for soldier piling and lagging as well as driven steel sheet temporary retaining walls. These earth anchoring temporary retaining walls are used to retain the exposed soil face of deep excavations adjacent to sensitive structures or facilities. With only a skeleton crew and readily available construction equipment, load capacities of up to 200,000 lbs. per anchor are achievable in less time, requiring less labor and less material than traditional anchoring methods. Reduce waste. Reuse as needed.
The helical tieback anchors are installed into retained soil, and load capacity is easily calculated based on the amount of torque applied. The shoring walls can be immediately tensioned and tested without the need for cure time or grout equipment. This saves time and money on materials, labor, and mobilization. After temporary shoring is no longer needed, CHANCE® Helical Tieback Anchors can easily be removed and reused, making them perfect for your temporary retaining walls.
